TS LAWCET, PGLCET 2025 Registration Begins; Apply Now

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has formally opened up the registration for the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) and the Telangana Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (TS PGLCET) 2025. Interested candidates who seek to study law courses in Telangana are now able to register through the official portal, lawcet.tsche.ac.in. The application deadline is April 15, 2025.
The TS LAWCET and TS PGLCET exams are to be conducted on June 6, 2025. The hall tickets for the exams will be out on May 30, 2025. The entrance exams will be held at 17 online test centers in Telangana. Aspirants should refer to the official website to know details of their respective test centers.
TS LAWCET is conducted for admission to three-year and five-year LL.B. program, whereas TS PGLCET is for joining the two-year LL.M. postgraduate program in law. The requirements also differ according to the course of study for which a candidate wishes to apply. For the LL.B. 3-year course, candidates will need to possess any graduate degree with a pattern of 10+2+3 from an approved university or equivalent. The minimum percentage for the qualifying examination is 45% for General and BC candidates, 42% for OBC candidates, and 40% for SC/ST candidates.
For the five-year LL.B. course, candidates should have passed a two-year Intermediate Examination in the 10+2 pattern or its equivalent. Minimum marks required will be the same as for the three-year LL.B. course. For TS PGLCET, applicants should possess an LL.B./B.L. degree, either from a five-year or three-year course.
The test will be held in three languages, namely Telugu, Urdu, and English. The TS LAWCET for the three-year LL.B. course will be conducted in two sessions on June 6, 2025, between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM. The five-year LL.B. program exam will be conducted later the same day, between 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM. TS PGLCET for LL.M. candidates will also be conducted on June 6, 2025, between 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM.
The TS LAWCET registration fee differs according to category. General and BC candidates are required to pay ₹900, while SC/ST and differently-abled (PH) candidates must pay ₹600. The TS PGLCET registration fee is ₹1,100 for General and BC candidates and ₹900 for SC/ST and PH candidates.
In order to finalize the registration procedure, the aspirants have to log on to the official portal and go through some easy steps. They will first have to click on the ‘Application Fee Payment’ button on the homepage and make the payment. After this, they can go ahead with filling out the application form and checking the status of payment. Once they submit the form, it would be better if they download and take a printout of the application for later reference.
