The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will conduct the TRE 3 re-exam from July 19 to July 22, following its cancellation in March due to a question paper leak.

Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) witnessed a turbulent start in the first months of this year, but it has now launched an exercise to conduct the Teachers’ Recruitment Examination (TRE) 3.0 under strict measures to restore faith in its integrity and fairness. The institution was to scrutinize the paper on March 15, but allegations over the leak of the question paper rendered it canceled, dozens of hopeless 3.75 lakh hope-seekers.
Scheduled from July 19 to July 22, the new look TRE 3.0 will fill a staggering 87,074 teaching vacancies across the state of Bihar. Approximately 4.31 lakh candidates who are appearing for the examination to fill up vacancies from the primary up to the senior secondary level will appear in over 400 examination centres situated across 27 districts.
The timetable for the sessions of the examination has been planned meticulously: one single shift is set from 12 pm to 2:30 pm, and the other two on three—one beginning from 9:30 am to 12 pm and the second from 2:30 pm to 5 pm—on July 22. This structure does not only accommodate the vast number of examinees but also allows for adherence to the stringent examination protocols.

For the candidates, issuance of admit cards had been a major step as it had made the count down for the day they will be expected to sit for their exam. The admit cards bear important details such as center codes, and they are coming in as they wait for the announcement of examination centers on July 17.
Reason for Cancellation of Earlier Exam: The BPSC stated that the decision to cancel the previous exam would further cement its commitment to transparency and merit in the recruitment process. The Commission is again trying to remove trust deficits among the aspiring, deserving teachers of Bihar with its strict security protocols, ways for strict prevention against any kind of malpractice through its monitoring system.
As the state is gearing itself up for this huge exercise in educational recruitment, candidates and stakeholders can but hope and pray that the re-conducted TRE 3.0 will usher in a new paradigm of credibility and efficiency in Bihar’s education sector. As the hope is raised, preparation done and all set for a decisive turn in the multiple career paths that strive for shaping the educational future of the state.
