ABBS Opens Admissions For MBA In Entrepreneurship

Share

Acharya Bangalore Business School has opened admissions for its MBA in Entrepreneurship program starting in 2026. The two-year program lets students start their own businesses while they study. Each semester includes actual work on building a company. Students go from testing ideas to launching real products in the market.

The program takes 60 students at a time. This keeps the groups small, so everyone gets attention from mentors. Students learn by doing. They work with experienced business owners. They meet investors. They get help with legal paperwork and finances. The school has ties with government incubation programs and uses tech tools like AI in classes.

The structure is straightforward. First semester covers market research and checking if an idea works. Then comes business planning. After that, making prototypes. Then registering the company. Meeting with investors. And finally running the whole operation.

By graduation, students have both an MBA degree and a working business. The schoolworks with groups like KSCST, SIDBI, MSME, NSIC, FKCCI, K-Tech, TiE, and ENACTUS. These partnerships give students access to funding and business connections.

Ajitesh Basani, Executive Director, ABBS, said: “Entrepreneurship today is no longer about just learning business concepts — it is about building real ventures that solve real-world problems. With our MBA (Entrepreneurship) programme, we are creating a launchpad for young innovators to convert ideas into sustainable enterprises. Our vision is to nurture confident founders who can drive innovation, employment, and economic growth, not just in India, but globally.”

He further added:“At ABBS, we are deeply committed to experiential learning. This programme ensures that every student graduates with not only managerial competence but also a live business, investor readiness, and a strong entrepreneurial network. Our goal is to empower students to become job creators rather than job seekers.”
