The Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur (IIMS) is proud to announce the launch two new Executive MBA programmes – General Management & Digital Transformation and Analytics in the current academic year. The two programmes are designed for working professionals in collaboration with University of Bordeaux and University of Paris, France, with an aim to empower business leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today’s rapidly changing work environment. These bespoke programmes are for professions who are looking to accelerate their careers and enhance their leadership abilities.

The two year programmes are tailored to suit the needs of working professionals, with hybrid learning options to accommodate busy schedules. The regular classes will be held online as students will be invited to the campus for a Personal Contact Programme (PCP) at periodic intervals. Among the PCPs, one will be held at a partnering university in France. Upon successful completion of two years, the students shall be conferred upon an executive MBA degree. All those who complete their first year but unable to complete the second year, will be given a post graduate diploma.

The Executive MBA in Digital Transformation and Analytics aims to transform middle and senior executives for leadership roles in the corporate world. The program intends to provide momentum fillip to the career path of the executives who aspire to leadership roles. Through its rigorous curriculum, the program offers a bouquet of benefits like access to qualified faculty, symbiotic relationships with industry, peer learning opportunities and alumni network. It will primarily involve case-based teaching methods. Through contemporary cases, student participants from diverse industry backgrounds will engage in intellectual debate in the classroom, leading to professional rigor and fostering managerial excellence.

The Executive MBA in Business Management is an MBA in General Management spread over two years and 4 terms. First two terms shall offer all the subjects in Management like Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Strategy, Organisational Behaviour (OB) and Human Resources (HR), Management Information Systems (MIS), Operations management and Quantitative Methods. The third and the fourth term shall comprise of a bouquet of electives. All these courses shall be taught by the eminent faculty members of IIM Sirmaur and the partnering French University. Some courses may be offered by the industry professionals to give a practical and strategic insight to the participants.

On 11 November, 2022, Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur signed MoU with the IIE Consortium of Universities, France to establish a Dual Degree Executive MBA programme for working executives. IIM Sirmaur Executive MBA programme aims at producing effective management professionals, entrepreneurs, and responsible citizens by fostering creativity, critical thinking, communication, strategic thinking, and sharp analytic skills to develop trained, principled, innovative leaders who can impact the industry and the world meaningfully. With the launch of these two Executive MBA programmes, IIM Sirmaur is stepping into the world of executive education.
