Indian Institute of Management Indore has partnered with ed-tech firm Emeritus to launch the new Executive Programme in Business Management which is going to start from December 2024. The 10-month program has been designed particularly for mid-level professionals aspiring to move into the managerial field. The fee is approximately Rs 2.35 lakh plus GST.

It is targeted at early managers, team leaders, consultants, and entrepreneurs who want to acquire a general sense of business management. The participants who come out empowered are well-equipped management thinkers who can handle the complexities of business challenges much better than before.

As per Himanshu Rai, director, IIM Indore, the requirements of a fast-changing market scenario today demand adaptable and forward-thinking leadership. “Our executive program in business management is crafted to transform professionals into strategic decision-makers, providing them with insights and skills to tackle complex challenges with confidence,” he added.

Participants under the program will have a good understanding of management principles and a broad field of business functions. Along with this, they will also be trained in exploiting newly emerging technologies and newer digital trends in forming strategy and roadmap for business transformation and sustainability. The curriculum would, therefore, develop analytical skills, an innovative mindset along with strategic and lean application.

The course includes live online sessions, real-time case studies, and a two-day immersion experience at IIM Indore. The curriculum is multi-modular with live lectures and the opportunity for peer-to-peer learning. Modules include essential topics like foundational understanding, financial management, operations and supply chain management, and people management, among others.

The program’s completion entitles the participants to a certificate of completion from IIM Indore with a minimum attendance level of 75%. They can also become alumni of the institute for Executive Education in the future and so contribute a valuable network and resource for their own later development.
