MERI to offer scholarships to Bhutani students

Management Education & Research Institute( MERI), an affiliated institute of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has announced to offer scholarships to Bhutani students enrolled in its Janakpuri campus as well as its other educational campuses located at other parts of the country.
The Vice President of MERI group of institutions Prof. Lalit Aggarwal announced it at the meeting of India – Bhutan Friendship Association convened in Delhi here today in which the Prime Minister of Bhutan Dasho Tshering Tobgay also graced. Prof. Aggarwal is a key member of this association.
In the meeting, the decades – long friendship of both the countries, possibilities of ties up with different fields, etc. were discussed at length.
The Prime Minister of Bhutan praised the offer made by MERI and also lauded the efforts being untaken by the association in fostering the congenial relationship between both the countries.
The association publishes a half – yearly magazine ‘ Bhutan Panorma’ edited by Prof. Aggarwal. The latest issue of this magazine was also presented to the PM of Bhutan on the occasion.
The PM of Bhutan is on a five – day official visit to India these days.
