The Institute of Supply Chain Management awarded VP of Supply Chain, Ghodawat Consumer Ltd, (GCL) Vijay Kumar as “Outstanding Supply Chain Leader 2024” – The award recognizes his exemplary performance, passion, and significant contributions to the field of supply chain management.

He oversees various supply chain activities, including sales and operations planning, logistics, customer service, management of third-party logistics (3PL), vendor support, and systems implementation at Ghodawat Consumer Ltd.

GCL, the FMCG division of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group, holds a great share in Maharashtra and Karnataka, with a solid foothold in oil, atta (flour), rice, and other consumer goods. The distribution network of GCL spans Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities across both states. Navigating this vast geography while delivering seamless service presents significant challenges in logistics, procurement, and warehouse management. Mr. Vijay has been a leader in this area, overcoming many obstacles along the way.
