Pace Digitek Limited has received its first order in the railway sector. The company has got an advance Letter of Authorisation from RailTel Corporation of India Ltd for a project worth ₹890.69 million, including GST.

The work is about installing IP-based video surveillance systems in LHB coaches. In simple words, trains will get new camera systems for better monitoring and safety.

The company will handle the full job. This includes supply of equipment, installation, testing and making the system ready to use. There will be a three-year warranty. After that, a five-year maintenance contract will follow.

The surveillance system will be built as per the latest RDSO specification, Version 3.1. These are the standards set for railway technology and safety systems.

Chairman and Managing Director Maddisetty Venugopal Rao said this order marks the company’s entry into railway coach surveillance. He said the project will help improve passenger safety and strengthen the company’s presence in public infrastructure projects.

With this order, Pace Digitek’s total order book now stands at ₹103,319 million. Of this, ₹25,527 million comes from telecom and ICT projects, while ₹77,792 million is from the energy segment.

This is the company’s first step into the rolling stock surveillance space. It may open the door for more railway projects in the coming years.
