He attained his doctoral degree in drugs from the Institute of Physics( IOP), Bhubaneswar, before embarking on a postdoctoral fellowship at theInter-University Accelerator Centre( IUAC), New Delhi. His pursuit of transnational exposure led him to South Korea, where he was a Brain Korea Visiting Scientist at the Seoul National University’s SAINT programme, and latterly to France, where he served as a post doctoral visiting fellow at the Centre de Sciences Nucléaires et de Sciences de la Matière( CSNSM), Orsay. His transnational gests amended his exploration outlook and gave him a broad vision that he has successfully applied since joining GGSIPU in 2008.
At the University, Dr. Mohapatra leads the Multifunctional Nanomaterials Laboratory, which has come a center for pioneering exploration in nanoscience. His work focuses on the development of multifunctional mongrel nanostructures, two- dimensional nanomaterials, and essence oxide- grounded nanocomposites.
