New Delhi, September 20 – In a remarkable recognition of academic and exploration excellence, Dr. Satyabrata Mohapatra, Associate Professor of Nanoscience and Technology at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University( GGSIPU), has formerlyagain earned a place among the World’s Top 2 Scientists 2025. Mohapatra’s addition in the prestigious ranking for both “ Career( 1960 – 2024) ” and “ Single Time( 2024) ” orders reflects the transnational impact of his exploration. specially, he has achieved All India Rank 107 in the Career Ranking within Applied Physics, a recognition that underscores the magnitude of his benefactions to nanoscience and accoutrements exploration. He attained his doctoral degree in drugs from the Institute of Physics( IOP), Bhubaneswar, before embarking on a postdoctoral fellowship at theInter-University Accelerator Centre( IUAC), New Delhi. His pursuit of transnational exposure led him to South Korea, where he was a Brain Korea Visiting Scientist at the Seoul National University’s SAINT programme, and latterly to France, where he served as a post doctoral visiting fellow at the Centre de Sciences Nucléaires et de Sciences de la Matière( CSNSM), Orsay. His transnational gests amended his exploration outlook and gave him a broad vision that he has successfully applied since joining GGSIPU in 2008. 

At the University, Dr. Mohapatra leads the Multifunctional Nanomaterials Laboratory, which has come a center for pioneering exploration in nanoscience. His work focuses on the development of multifunctional mongrel nanostructures, two- dimensional nanomaterials, and essence oxide- grounded nanocomposites. He has also explored the use of ion ray engineering to enhance materialperformance for critical operations similar as photocatalysis, catalysis, gas seeing, biosensing, face- enhanced Raman scattering( SERS), antimicrobials, and water sanctification. His exploration has not only contributed significantly to scientific literature but has also opened avenues for practical operations that address global challenges in energy, health, and the terrain.
