Arizona State University (ASU), on Thursday, set the stage by introducing ASU London to the Indian education ecosystem. The programme is a two-country academic pathway that combines the rigour of British higher education with American leadership in applied learning and innovation, among its offerings.
“ASU London reflects our long-standing commitment to rethinking global higher education. By integrating British academic standards with American strengths in applied learning, we are creating a global education experience that prepares students for opportunity, mobility and impact.” – said Michael M. Crow, President, Arizona State University.
The event, led by Chris Howard, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Arizona State University, brought together industry leaders, policymakers, partner universities and international education bodies to discuss the future of globally integrated education pathways for Indian students. ASU London introduces a two-country academic pathway that combines the rigour of British higher education with American leadership in applied learning and innovation, among its offerings.
For Indian students, the two-country model allows qualified applicants to pursue a UK-accredited bachelor’s degree with guaranteed entry for all successful bachelor graduates into a master’s degree at Arizona State University in the United States. The programme offers a 3+1 model of learning, with a three-year graduation course in the UK followed by a one-year master’s degree in the US. Considering the current geopolitical situation, including visa timelines, the university is offering multiple options to complete the one-year master’s programme, including an online route. According to the university, the programme, which is set to start in September, allows students to complete their master’s degree in just one year immediately after finishing their UK undergraduate course, effectively saving one year.
Speaking on the engagement with Indian stakeholders, Dr. Chris Howard, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer said, “Students in India are actively seeking global education pathways that combine academic rigour with practical learning. ASU London reflects our commitment to supporting those aspirations through globally connected degree programmes.”
Structured around Arizona State University’s academic architecture, ASU London offers a globally integrated learning environment with clear progression pathways and alignment across education systems.
