Lucknow, July 14, 2025 The Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (BTEUP) has formally released the results for the June 2025 semester, yearly, and special back paper tests. In the examinations, 2,41,856 pupils signed up overall. The Board, which is committed to academic honesty and openness, performed the assessment of answer sheets using a digital method. The 152 public and public-supported polytechnic institutions of Uttar Pradesh were evaluated. Narendra Bhushan, Additional Chief Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Technical Education, announced the results based on the recommendations of the test committee. With 1,26,279 pupils taking the even semester system and 1,15,576 students taking the annual exam method, the total number of candidates who sat the special back paper exams was 20,371. While the even semester exams had a 62. 46% pass rate, the overall pass rate for the yearly exams was 52. 63%. Given the great number of students tested and the focus on open digital methods, these results show a major success in the technical education sector of the state. With an outstanding 87. 65% in the semester exams for the engineering stream, Adesh Upadhyay of the Government Polytechnic in Jaunpur came out on top among the top achievers in the state. Following Ashutosh Srivastava of Government Polytechnic, Mau, who came in second with 86. 91%, was Anurag Pandey of P. T. Ramadhar J. Suryadatt Mishra from Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar College in Lakhimpur Kheri earned 82. 78% of the possible marks, putting him in third place. These pupils’ remarkable accomplishments highlight the academic brilliance being developed in several areas of Uttar Pradesh. According to the Board’s inspection panel, top 10 rank holders from both the semester and annual systems will be recognized. These worthy students will get medals and cash awards in honor of their remarkable academic accomplishments. This program aims to motivate students to more seriously seek technical studies and acknowledge their work and achievements. Despite the test’s perfect administration, the Board acted quickly to punish wrongdoing. Two hundred and twenty pupils’ results were withheld as allegations of cheating during the exam surfaced. Furthermore, 2,533 answer sheets—a violation of the exam guidelines—on which candidates had scrawled their mobile numbers were graded as zero in the appropriate subjects. This strict stance reinforces the Board’s zero-tolerance policy on any breaches of examination conduct, so ensuring fairness for everyone concerned. Also present at the results disclosure event were key officials from the technical education industry. The presence of Aziz Ahmad, Director of Technical Education, and F. R. Khan, Director of the Institute of Research, Development, and Training, Kanpur, emphasizes the importance of the occasion and the coordinated efforts of the government in successfully executing one of the largest technical assessments in the state.
