The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has introduced an obligatory ICAIE-Diary system for scholars witnessing practical training, articleship, and industrial training, marking a major reform in how training is covered and regulated. The decision, blazoned through a sanctioned communication by ICAI’s Board of Studies (Operations), will apply to all scholars who commence their training on or after January 1, 2026.
The new digital system will be accessible through the Student Self Service Portal (SSSP) and aims to bring translucency, responsibility, and structure to the training process.
