Winmore Academy, Whitefield, Bengaluru, has launched CSTAR 2026, the Crimson Scholarship Test for Academic Recognition, aimed at identifying and nurturing academic talent among school students. The scholarship is a flagship initiative of the Crimson Schools Network.
The programme is open to students currently studying in Class 5 and preparing to move to Class 6 in the 2026–27 academic year. Interested families can register either online through a Google Form or offline by visiting the Winmore Academy campus in Whitefield.
CSTAR is designed to assess students’ academic understanding and critical thinking skills. The preliminary test will be held on January 31, 2026, at the school campus.
Speaking about the initiative, Chitra Sharma, Principal, Winmore Academy, Whitefield, said the scholarship is meant to create opportunities rather than competition. She added that CSTAR allows students to showcase their potential, build confidence and set higher academic goals, and invited students across Bengaluru to participate.
Top performers will be awarded scholarships covering up to 30 per cent of tuition fees. Additional prizes, including tablets, bicycles and smartwatches, will also be given. All participants will receive a certificate of participation and a Crimson stationery kit.
Winmore Academy, Whitefield, said the CSTAR initiative reflects its focus on combining strong academics with experiential and value-based learning, while encouraging students to grow into confident and responsible thinkers.
