This campus will not only expand our physical presence but will serve as a future-ready academic ecosystem designed to meet emerging national and global needs.”
The Narela campus is envisioned as a state-of-the-art centre offering high demand and contemporary programmes. It will offer undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in AI and emerging technologies, Engineering and Applied Sciences, Health and AYUSH, Film Production and Communication , Agriculture and Allied Studies, Defence and Strategic Studies, International Relations and Management, supported by strong interdisciplinary research.
Some of these new-age programmes have already started at the University’s Dwarka Campus and will be progressively shifted to the Narela Campus once the infrastructure is ready, ensuring continuity of academic activities while enabling a smooth transition to the new facilities.
At present, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University runs courses through its main campus at Dwarka and its East Delhi Campus at Surajmal Vihar. The addition of the Narela campus will significantly strengthen the University’s geographical presence and academic outreach across Delhi.
