IPU Opens CUET-Based Admissions for 22 PG Programmes, Applications Close 20 July

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) has started the admission process through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for 22 postgraduate and professional programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. The online application window will remain open until 11:59 pm on July 20.
The admissions are available for a range of programmes, including MBA, Master of Computer Applications (MCA), MA (Mass Communication), LLM, MA (English), M.Ed., M.Tech, MSc, MS (Packaging Technology), B.Ed., and B.Ed. (Special Education).
Candidates can register through the university’s admission portals. The university has advised applicants to carefully check the eligibility criteria, domain-specific subject requirements, optional language requirements and general test criteria mentioned in the Admission Brochure for Postgraduate Programmes 2026-27 before submitting their applications.
Applicants can apply for multiple programmes by paying a separate non-refundable registration fee of Rs 2,500 per course.
The university clarified that candidates who have already secured admission to any programme or college through National Level Tests (NLTs) or the university’s Common Entrance Tests (CETs) and have an “admitted” status will not be considered for admission through CUET merit.
IP University also said admissions through CUET scores will be conducted only after the merit lists of the respective National Level Tests and Common Entrance Tests have been exhausted.
The university has advised candidates to regularly check its official admission websites for updates and detailed information on the admission process.
