TEDxIIHMR U 2026 Brings Diverse Voices to the Stage in Jaipur

The fourth edition of TEDxIIHMR U concluded at IIHMR University, Jaipur, bringing together speakers from healthcare, performing arts, child rights, disability advocacy, music, entrepreneurship and wildlife conservation.
Themed “Ignite the Unseen,” the event focused on people, ideas and experiences that often remain outside the mainstream but can influence wider social change.
The speaker lineup included Dr. Mallika Sarabhai, Padma Bhushan awardee and Director of Darpana Academy; Dr. Shibu Vijayan, Chief Medical Officer for Global Health at Qure.ai; Om Prakash Gurjar, 2006 International Children’s Peace Prize laureate and founder of Paathshala Trust; Gauri Yadwadkar, Lead at Roundglass Music and a singer, composer and musicologist; R. Udayan Lahiry, entrepreneur and wildlife conservationist; and Prateek Madhav, National Award-winning disability rights advocate and CEO and Co-founder of ATF.
The speakers shared experiences from their respective fields, highlighting issues and perspectives that often receive limited attention. The discussions covered public health, assistive technology, child rights, culture, social impact, entrepreneurship and conservation.
The event also featured a performance by Abhishek Mudgal, theatre director, actor, founder of Rang Mastaaney and Stage Manager at the National School of Drama, New Delhi. He presented “Maharathi” on the TEDxIIHMR U stage.
Yamini Agarwal, Director, IIHMR Startups, said the event brought together voices and experiences from different disciplines and highlighted the role of diverse perspectives in driving innovation.
Dr. P.R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University, said the theme reflected the need to recognise voices and contributions that often do not receive enough attention.
TEDxIIHMR U was launched in 2023 and has since provided a platform for speakers and audiences to engage with ideas and experiences across different fields.
