A 9-year-old student from EuroSchool Airoli has won a silver medal at a national skating competition, making his school and family proud.

Reyansh Bane won the medal at the School Games Federation of India National Competition in the Under-11 Boys category. The event was held in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Young skaters from across the country took part in the competition.

Reyansh’s win came after months of practice and discipline. At his age, competing at a national level is not easy. Coaches and parents say his focus and love for skating set him apart.

This is not Reyansh’s first big achievement. In 2019–20, he set a Guinness World Record for continuous skating for 96 hours. He was very young at the time. The record brought him global attention and showed his early passion for the sport.

Speaking about the achievement, Geeta Agarwal, Principal of EuroSchool Airoli, said the school was proud of Reyansh. She said his journey shows the importance of discipline, hard work, and confidence. She added that the school supports students who want to follow their interests along with studies.

Reyansh’s success reflects the support he receives from his school and teachers. At EuroSchool Airoli, students are encouraged to explore sports and other interests alongside academics. Teachers help children balance practice, rest, and learning.

For Reyansh, skating is more than a sport. It is something he enjoys and works hard at every day. His silver medal at the SGFI Nationals is another step in a journey that has already begun early.
