GGSIPU Partners With Biotech International to Develop Bio-based Agricultural Biostimulants

The University School of Chemical Technology at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Biotech International Limited (BIL) to collaborate on sustainable biotechnology research aimed at developing bio-based agricultural solutions.
The partnership will focus on creating an eco-friendly agricultural biostimulant using advanced bioprocess engineering and biotechnology. The two organisations said the collaboration is intended to bridge academic research with industrial applications by promoting joint research, technology development, process optimisation and knowledge exchange.
The MoU was exchanged in the presence of GGSIPU Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma, Registrar Dr. Kamal Pathak and Biotech International Limited Managing Director Saurabh Singhal.
According to the university, the collaboration is expected to strengthen academia-industry linkages while supporting research in sustainable biotechnology and environmentally friendly agricultural innovations.
