NBEMS Opens Registration for FMGE June 2025, Know Exam Timetable Here
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has started the registration process for the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) June 2025 session officially. The candidates who are eligible can now fill out the application form for the exam through the NBEMS official website. Along with the registration, the examination timetable and other details have also been made public.
As per the official announcement, the FMGE June 2025 will be held on July 26, 2025, on a computer-based platform at several examination centres in India. The NBEMS has requested applicants to go through the information bulletin uploaded on its website from April 28, 2025, onwards. The bulletin contains exhaustive details regarding the eligibility criteria, fee structure, scheme of examination, and other important guidelines that the candidates should be aware of prior to submitting their applications.
The opening of the information bulletin began on April 28, 2025, at 3 PM. Applications are available online from the same time and date. May 17, 2025, until 11:55 PM, is the last date for filling and submitting the application form. The exam will take place on July 26, 2025. According to the notification, the result of FMGE June 2025 will be announced by August 26, 2025.
All the applicants who are experiencing any sort of problem during form submission, payment gateway process, or while requesting a refund are requested to contact the NBEMS Candidate Care Support. They may contact via the helpline number +91-7996165333 or may send queries through the helpline portal after applicant login on the NBEMS website.
In concurrent announcements, NBEMS declared the outcome for the FMGE December 2024 session. In this session, the pass rate was 29.4%, as nearly 45,550 candidates appeared for the exam conducted on January 12, 2025. The results indicated the trend in performance of foreign medical graduates who aim to become medical professionals in India.
FMGE is an important test for Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have acquired their basic medical qualifications from colleges outside India but want to practice medicine in India. The test confirms that these graduates have the knowledge and skills that are on par with Indian medical graduates. Held twice a year, the FMGE is a compulsory licensure test and acts as a gateway for foreign-trained medical practitioners.
The June 2025 test is likely to see a large number of candidates, as has been the trend with earlier sessions in which thousands of candidates had registered. The computer-based test format provides transparency and standardization for assessing the candidates’ knowledge base.
While all this was happening, multiple developments have also been observed across the country in the educational and examination arenas. For one, IIT Madras came up with a novel biosensor platform for the testing of pregnant women for pre-eclampsia, signaling an important advance in prenatal health care. Then on another level, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) hit headlines after deleting the Mughal and Delhi Sultanate chapters from Class 7 books, provoking extensive discussion across the teaching circle.
Apart from the FMGE updates, AIIMS INI SS 2025 registrations are ongoing as of now. Students planning for super-specialty medical courses should make it a point to check deadlines and other registration details on time. Also, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2025 city slips are to be made available soon, aiding candidates in organizing their travel to the test centers. Likewise, Maharashtra MBA/MMS CET 2025 answer key and response sheets are also released, allowing aspirants to gauge their marks before the final release. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has also provided a new interface to report suspected malpractices with respect to the NEET UG 2025, improving the exam integrity.
For students intending to study overseas, there is good news. New Zealand has seen a 27% increase in international student applications this year. Students looking at studying in the United States are encouraged to look at Ivy League schools, which have a variety of programs to assist them in becoming successful in key industry areas. Additionally, summer intake programs are proving to be a sought-after option for those who want a flexible entry into the American education system.
The education scenario continues to change with the passage of time, providing numerous opportunities to students both within India and abroad. Medical graduates wishing to give the FMGE June 2025 session are recommended to keep themselves informed about all formal updates on the NBEMS website and make sure that they finish their application process much before the deadline to minimize last-minute hassles.
