Now Delhi NCC Directorate to sponsor IPU NCC activities

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University’s (GGSIPU) NCC programs will now be sponsored by the Delhi NCC Directorate. This development was announced during a visit by Major General S.P. Vishwas Rao, Additional Director General of the Delhi NCC Directorate to the university. He inspected the dedicated office for NCC activities and commended the university’s efforts in promoting NCC programs.
The university’s Vice Chancellor Padma Shri Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma welcomed this decision stating that it would boost the university’s NCC activities. Previously, the university was bearing the costs of these programs itself. The sponsorship will cover all NCC-related programs conducted by the university.
This move is expected to enhance the university’s NCC initiatives, which are already being implemented on a large scale in the university’s campus schools and affiliated institutions.
