The offline counseling procedure for admission to the B.Tech (Biotechnology) program at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), a top university in the nation’s capital, will begin on June 4, 2025, according to an announcement made by the university. The second day of counseling, June 5, will be for candidates in the general category. Document verification and seat assignment will be conducted for those with CET scores up to 200. This gradual method guarantees that candidates from various backgrounds have an equal chance of being accepted based on merit and reservation regulations, in accordance with government recommendations. 

All applicants must provide a set of necessary papers in order to take part in the counseling process. This comprises a bank draft for ₹1,89,500 payable to the “Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University,” which pays for tuition and other related costs for the academic year. In addition, students are required to bring a current birth certificate, four recent passport-size pictures, their CET rank card and admission card, and any other necessary papers to prove their identity, category, and academic qualification. The process will be completely offline, with candidates being required to be physically present at the Dwarka campus for seat confirmation and verification. 

Candidates have been advised by university authorities to adhere to the schedule and have all of their paperwork ready in advance in order to prevent any last-minute hassles. The Public Relations Department has stressed that this offline counseling method provides more transparency and personalized help to candidates and their caregivers.
