The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission( UPPSC) has  blazoned the results of the Review Officer( RO) and Assistant Review Officer( ARO) primary Examination 2025. The  important- awaited results were released on September 17, 2025, and  campaigners can now  pierce the  sanctioned result PDF on the Commission’s website, uppsc.up.nic.in. The document carries the roll  figures of  campaigners who have successfully cleared the  primary stage and are eligible to appear for the Main Examination.   The  primary examination for the posts of RO and ARO was conducted on July 27, 2025. This reclamation drive was carried out under announcement No. A-7/E-1/ 2023, which had  blazoned 411  vacuities across different  orders. The  announcement attracted massive participation, with nearly 10.76 lakh  campaigners applying for the examination. Out of these, about 4.54 lakh  campaigners  ultimately appeared for the test, marking one of the largest participation  numbers for state-  position competitive examinations in Uttar Pradesh this time.

After the evaluation process, the Commission has declared  7,509  campaigners provisionally  good for the Mains. The shortlisted  campaigners will now have the  occasion to  contend for the limited number of posts through the coming stage of the reclamation process. According to UPPSC, the selection remains provisional at this stage, and the final merit list will only be prepared after the completion of the Main Examination and the  posterior interview rounds.   The breakdown of shortlisted  campaigners, grounded on thepost-wise distribution, shows the scale of competition. For the 338 posts of Review Officer( RO),  6,093  campaigners have been declared  good for the Mains. In the Assistant Review Officer( ARO)  order, which has 79 announced  vacuities,  1,386  campaigners have been shortlisted. For the ARO( Accounts) post, which has just two  vacuities, 30  campaigners have been declared provisionally  good. The  rate of  campaigners to available  vacuities  formerly again highlights the  largely competitive nature of this examination.

While the result  protestation brings relief and joy to thousands of  campaigners, UPPSC has also issued important  interpretations. The Commission has emphasized that the current list is provisional, meaning it only confirms eligibility for the Mains and does n’t establish final selection. The final decision regarding  movables  will only be made after  campaigners appear in the Main Examination and the interview stage, where marks from all phases will be considered together to prepare the merit list. also, UPPSC has made it clear that queries filed under the Right to Information( RTI) Act regarding this result wo n’t be entertained until the final  outgrowth of the reclamation process is declared.   The  advertisement of results has also drawn attention to the massive scale at which competitive examinations are conducted in Uttar Pradesh. With over 10 lakh  aspirants and nearly half of them appearing in the  primary examination, the UPPSC RO/ ARO reclamation is considered one of the most sought- after examinations in the state. The number of shortlisted  campaigners for the Mains further underlines the rigorous selection process.

For a aggregate of 411 announced  vacuities,  further than  7,500  campaigners have cleared the prelims, reflecting themulti-layered webbing approach  espoused by the Commission.   campaigners who have qualified for the Mains can check their roll  figures in the result PDF uploaded on the  sanctioned UPPSC website. To  pierce the list, they need to visit uppsc.up.nic.in and open the “ rearmost News ” section, where the link  named “ LIST OF PROVISIONALLY good campaigners FOR MAINS IN ADVT. NO. A-7/E-1/ 2023 ” has been published. Upon clicking the link, the result PDF opens, displaying the roll  figures of  campaigners who have cleared the  primary stage. Applicants are advised to use the Ctrl F function to search for their roll number in the document and save a  dupe for future reference.

The Commission has also informed that a separate  announcement will be issued soon regarding the schedule for the Main Examination. The admit cards for the Mains will be released  near to the  test date, and only those who have qualified in the  primary examination will be  suitable to download them. This ensures that the shortlisted  campaigners remain updated and  set for the coming stage of the reclamation process.

The UPPSC RO/ ARO examination is considered a  pivotal  occasion for applicants seeking government service in Uttar Pradesh, as it opens pathways to  executive and  pastoral  places in the state  ministry. With thousands of  aspirants  contending for a limited number of posts, the competition is known to be  violent. The  protestation of the  primary results marks an important step forward in the reclamation cycle, setting the stage for the coming phase that will  ultimately determine the final list of  nominees.

For now, the focus shifts to medication for the Mains, as the shortlisted  campaigners gear up for the alternate stage of the examination process. UPPSC’s  evidence that the final merit list will only be declared after the completion of all examination phases ensures  translucency and fairness in the process. With  7,509  campaigners advancing to the coming round, the  trip toward filling the 411  vacuities continues, keeping alive the  bournes  of thousands who see the UPPSC examination as a gateway to a secure and prestigious career in the public sector.
