UGC NET City Intimation Slip Out Soon

Share

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is about to issue the announcement slip for the UGC NET June 2025 exam, a major update that millions of candidates across the country are anxiously awaiting. The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is conducted to evaluate applicants for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) grant and the position of Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges. The June 2025 cycle of the exam will be conducted in multiple shifts from June 25 to June 29, 2025. As the exam date approaches, candidates are eagerly awaiting the release of the city intimation slip, which will reveal the city where their exam center has been assigned.

The city intimation slip is a pre-alert prior to the official admit card. It tells candidates the name of the city where their exam center is located. However, the center’s precise address, reporting time, and shift details are not included. This tip is meant to help candidates make necessary travel and accommodation arrangements in advance, particularly those who have to travel long distances or between states. This approach also allows for better preparation, especially for those from remote or rural areas who may need more time to travel to the testing location.

The NTA is expected to release the city intimation slip on its official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, in the third week of June. Candidates can download the slip by logging in with their application number, date of birth, and security PIN. After logging in, they may check the assigned exam city and download the PDF city slip. This approach enhances transparency in the testing procedure and reduces last-minute candidate panic and disarray. The city slip is essential for giving candidates logistical convenience, even if it is not necessary for the day of the test.

Following the release of the city intimation slip, the NTA will publish the official admit cards for the UGC NET June 2025, which are expected to be available in the fourth week of June. The admit card will contain comprehensive information, including the candidate’s details, the name and address of the examination center, reporting time, exam shift, and instructions for the day of the exam. A valid photo ID and a printed copy of the admit card are required for all candidates at the examination site. If you don’t do this, you will be barred from the exam room.

The UGC NET June 2025 test will be given in two shifts every day. The morning session will be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the afternoon session will be from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The exam, which is subject-specific, is carried out on a computer and consists of two parts: Paper I, which is general and evaluates teaching and research skills, and Paper II. Both exams are given one after the other, with no pauses in between. The exam pattern and syllabus have remained consistent with previous years, providing continuity for those preparing with long-term plans.

The registration process for the UGC NET June 2025 began on April 16 of this year and concluded on May 7. Applicants were given a correction window from May 13 to May 15 to amend any errors in their application forms. The test is being given for a variety of subjects, and millions of students from across the country have registered. The city intimation slip and admit card are about to be released, signaling the start of the final step of preparation for many candidates.

Candidates are advised to regularly visit the NTA UGC NET official website for information regarding the admit card and city intimation slip release. They should also check that all personal information on the documents is accurate and matches that of their original ID. If they notice any discrepancies, they must immediately get in touch with the NTA helpdesk using the helpline number or email address provided on the official website.

With only a few days until the test, the city intimation slip marks a significant transition in the UGC NET June 2025 process. It gives students transparency and enables them to plan their trips successfully, ensuring that they won’t experience any last-minute problems before the exam. As the NTA prepares to conduct one of the most competitive national-level eligibility tests smoothly and systematically, candidates are urged to maintain their confidence, stay informed, and focus on their revision. The upcoming weeks will be vital, and getting the city slip and admission card on time will be the first step in successfully completing the UGC NET June 2025.
