IIM Calcutta Releases CAT 2024 Answer Key, Objections Open

IIM Calcutta has released the provisional answer key for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 on December 3, 2024. Candidates who appeared for this highly competitive entrance exam can check and download the answer key from the official IIM CAT website at iimcat.ac.in.
The answer key will provide a preliminary evaluation of the candidates’ responses. With the release of the answer key, the objection window has also been opened to let the candidates raise their concerns with respect to discrepancies in the answer key. The objection window will be open until 11:55 pm on December 5, 2024.
As per the official notice, candidates who wish to file objections can do so through the Objection Management link available on the CAT website. To raise an objection, candidates will need to log in using their CAT application ID and password. IIM Calcutta will carefully review and verify the objections before preparing the final answer key and results.
How to Download the CAT 2024 Answer Key:
Candidates can follow these easy steps to download the answer key from the official website:
- Visit the official IIM CAT website at iimcat.ac.in.
- On the homepage, click on the link for the “IIM CAT 2024 Answer Key.”
- A new page will open, asking for the login details of candidates.
- After putting in the required information, click “Submit.”
- The answer key will appear on the screen.
- Candidates can check the answer key and download the page for future reference.
The candidates must cross-check the answers with the key and file objections, if any, within the given timelines. The results of CAT 2024 will depend on the final key that is prepared after checking all the objections.
CAT Results Expected in January 2025:
Once the objections have been considered, IIM Calcutta will publish the final answer key and the result in due course. Official scorecards of CAT 2024 are to be released on the CAT website and there is also an option of getting a confirmation in the form of an SMS. The CAT results should be out by the end of the second week of January 2025.
The CAT 2024 scores are valid up to the end date of December 31, 2025 and available to view online using the online score at the official IIM CAT website.
