The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has been confirmed as the organizing body for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023, as per media reports, The CAT 2023 notification is set to be released on the official website, iimcat.ac.in.

Professor Sanjeet Singh, Chairperson of Admissions, has been appointed as the exam convenor for this year. He assured that, as in previous years, the CAT 2023 notification will be made available by the end of July.

In the previous year, the entrance exam was conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM)-Bangalore. Registration for CAT 2022 began in the first week of August and candidates had time until September 14 to complete their application forms, with an extension granted until September 21.

The exam admit cards were issued in October for the November 27 examination.

The CAT is a prominent national-level MBA entrance examination that is conducted annually for admission to MBA/PGP courses at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and other CAT scores accepting B-schools in India. The exam will evaluate candidates in quantitative ability, verbal ability and reading comprehension, and data interpretation and logical thinking.

Last year, general category candidates were required to pay a registration fee of Rs 2300, while candidates from reserved categories paid a fee of Rs 1150.
