IP University CETs from April 25; Over 50,000 Candidates to Appear

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will begin its Common Entrance Tests (CETs) for the 2026–27 academic session from April 25, with exams scheduled till May 23.
According to Controller of Examinations Dr. S.L. Bhandarkar, the tests will be held on OMR sheets in two shifts every Saturday and Sunday during this period. The morning shift will run from 10 am to 12.30 pm, while the evening shift will be held from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
A total of 50,531 candidates are expected to appear for CETs across 78 programmes. Except for PhD exams, tests scheduled on May 9 and 10 will also be conducted in four cities outside Delhi-NCR—Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow and Kolkata.
Admit cards will be available for download from the university website five to six days before the respective exam dates. The university has said no requests for change in date, shift or exam centre will be accepted.
A single question paper will be used for CET codes 119 and 124, which cover paramedical programmes.
