IP University Opens CUET Admissions For 22 PG Programmes

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) has started the admission process for 17 undergraduate programmes through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) for the 2026-27 academic session. The last date to submit online applications is 11:59 pm on July 30.
The university said admissions through CUET will be offered only after the merit lists of the respective National Level Tests (NLTs) and Common Entrance Tests (CETs) have been exhausted, subject to the availability of seats.
The programmes include Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), BTech, BA LLB, BBA LLB, BBA and allied programmes, five-year integrated BBA-MBA, BA (Journalism and Mass Communication), BPharm, BSc (Environmental Science), BS Packaging Technology, BSc-MSc dual degree in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, Bachelor of Management Studies, Bachelor of Commerce (Honours), BHMCT, four-year BA English, four-year BA Economics, and BA Liberal Arts with majors in History, Sociology, Political Science and Psychology.
Candidates can register through the university’s admission portals. Before applying, they have been advised to refer to the Admission Brochure for Undergraduate Programmes 2026-27 for programme-wise eligibility criteria, including domain-specific subjects, optional languages and general test requirements under CUET.
Applicants may apply for multiple programmes by submitting separate applications and paying a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 2,500 per programme.
The university clarified that candidates who have already secured admission to any programme or college through its National Level Tests or Common Entrance Tests and have an “admitted” status will not be eligible for admission through the CUET merit list.
The university has advised candidates to regularly check its official admission websites for updates on admissions, counselling and seat allotment.
