In a student-friendly move, NIIT University (NU) has announced admissions for the 2026 session, offering significant relaxations and attractive scholarships to Class XII students.

Aspiring students can now apply to NU using their CUET or IPMAT scores, which will exempt them from appearing for the university’s own aptitude test (NUAT). Shortlisted candidates will directly proceed to the Personal Interaction round. The university is also offering merit scholarships of up to 100% based on performance in CUET, IPMAT, JEE Main, BITSAT, and SAT.

This initiative is especially beneficial for management aspirants who can now secure up to 100% scholarships for NU’s 3-year BBA and 5-year Integrated MBA (iMBA) programmes using their CUET and IPMAT scores.

Speaking on the new admission process, Prof. Prakash Gopalan, President, NIIT University, said, “We want to make the admission journey simpler and more accessible for students. By recognising CUET and IPMAT scores, we are acknowledging the hard work students have already put in and reducing their examination burden. Our focus is to identify motivated learners early and provide them with an education that combines strong academics, industry exposure, and real-world skills.”
