The National Testing Agency (NTA) has on Tuesday announced that it will conduct the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) June 2023 exam for ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ and eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ in 83 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The online application process for the exam will commence from May 10, 2023, and will end on May 31, 2023, up to 05:00 PM. The dates of the examination are from June 13, 2023, to June 22, 2023.

The NTA has advised all the candidates to visit the official website(s) of NTA, http://nta.ac.in and https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in, for the latest updates. It is important to note that no offline application forms will be accepted for the UGC-NET exam.

The UGC-NET exam is conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship in universities and colleges across the country. The exam is also a mandatory requirement for candidates seeking to pursue PhD courses in universities and research institutions.
