SVIS Hosts ‘Lab of the Future’ Programme on AI, Robotics and AR/VR

Tirupati: Sree Vidyanikethan International School organised its week-long experiential learning programme, “Lab of the Future”, giving students hands-on exposure to emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT) and Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR).
The campus was turned into an interactive learning space with workshops, live demonstrations and activity stations focused on technology-led learning and innovation.
Students participated in prototype building, application-based learning modules and practical sessions designed to help them understand real-world uses of advanced technologies.
Apart from technology-focused workshops, the programme also included activities such as rocket launches, drone assembly, aircraft exploration and science experiments aimed at improving analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
According to the school, the initiative was aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and focused on experiential and multidisciplinary learning.
Vinay Maheshwari said the programme was designed to help students experience technology beyond textbooks and classrooms.
He said the strong student participation reflected growing interest in future-focused learning and emerging technologies.
