This triumphant accomplishment solidifies India’s position as a leader in the global space race and emphasizes the vision articulated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “Sky is not the limit.”

Amidst a surge of excitement and national pride, Dr. Jitendra Singh proclaimed, “Hail India on Moon! Hail ISRO!” as Chandrayaan-3 made its successful landing on the lunar surface. During a media briefing, Dr. Jitendra Singh commended the dedicated efforts of ISRO’s leadership, including Chairman Shri S. Notable tools include CHASTE (Chandra’s Surface Thermo-Physical Experiment) for thermal property measurements, RAMBHA-LP (Langmuir Probe) for surface plasma density, and ILSA (Instrument for Lunar Seismic Activity) to study the lunar crust and mantle’s structure, among others. These instruments will operate over the next 14 days, collecting valuable data about the Moon’s unique characteristics.

As the lunar day dawns again after the upcoming night and extreme cold conditions, solar power generation is anticipated to resume for Vikram and Pragyan. Meanwhile, the orbiter remains resilient, poised to continue its mission, a testament to ISRO’s engineering prowess.
