In a crucial turning point for technical education in Uttar Pradesh, the Board of Technical Education (BTEUP) has formally declared the even semester, annual, and special back paper examinations results of June 2025. Conducted under the patronage of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Minister of Technical Education, the examinations are a landmark for more than two lakh students studying technical diplomas in the state.
The examinations were conducted between May 14 and June 21, 2025, at 203 test centers across Uttar Pradesh. 2,41,856 students had enrolled for the examinations, indicating the state’s increasing penchant for developing technical education. 1,26,279 students were enrolled under the even semester scheme, 1,15,576 under the annual pattern, while 20,371 candidates took special back paper exams.
To make the process transparent and correct, BTEUP implemented a computer-assisted evaluation system in 152 government and aided polytechnic institutions. This is part of the complete process of computerizing academic processes and reducing the extent of human intervention or manipulation. The computer-assisted evaluation not only accelerated quick processing but also increased accountability in the grading process.
Results were declared on 14th July 2025, by Narendra Bhushan, Chairman BTEUP and Additional Chief Secretary, formally. Student performance had a mixed trend. Pass percentage in the semester examination was 62.46% while in the annual system it was slightly less at 52.63%. While these were modest figures, most students demonstrated exceptional academic excellence and were rewarded suitably.

Standby at the second position was Ashutosh Srivastava of Government Polytechnic, Mau, with 86.91%, and third was Anurag Pandey of PT Ramadhar J. The awards are not only destined to identify individual merit but also destined to instill a culture of hard work and academic achievement among the future students of polytechnics.
But the announcement of results was also not free of its own set of disciplinary issues. The committee has released the fact that the result of 220 students has been put on hold against accusations of opting for unfair means of practice while sitting for examinations. In addition, an stringent action was also taken against 2,533 answer sheets with mobile numbers — those sheets were given zero marks in their respective papers. This stringent action reflects the council’s determination to keep examination integrity in place.
The meeting of the examination committee that finalized and endorsed the results was chaired by top officials such as Ajiz Ahmad, Director Technical Education, and F.R. Khan, Director, Research, Development & Training Institute, Kanpur. Their presence bore witness to the seriousness and transparency of the process, reinforcing public confidence in the technical education system of the state.
The students are able to view their respective results from the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh website www.bteup.ac.in. By this announcement, now thousands of students are in a position to mold their professional and academic lives more securely.
These results this year are not only the student learning results but also the changing administration and digitalization of the Uttar Pradesh technical education.
