HBSE Revises Class 10, 12 Exam Dates For 2025

The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has revised the schedule for the 2025 annual exams for Classes 10 and 12. In the updated timetable, Class 10 exams will now begin on February 28 and conclude on March 9, while Class 12 exams are scheduled to commence on February 27 and finish on April 2. Students preparing for these exams are advised to carefully review the revised dates and download the updated schedule from the official HBSE website to avoid any confusion.
The earlier schedule had Class 10 exams starting on February 27 and ending on March 15, and Class 12 exams running from February 26 to March 28. The revised schedule introduces several important changes in exam dates and subject timings. Major changes for Class 10 include the Hindi exam, which was scheduled for February 28 and now stands rescheduled for March 7. Social science has been advanced to March 17 instead of March 5. Mathematics has been rescheduled for February 28 from the date March 7. Besides, the Sanskrit, Urdu, drawing, agriculture, computer science, physical and health education, home science, music, animal husbandry, dance, and Sanskrit Sahitya exams are shifted to March 5 instead of March 17.
The Class 12 schedule too has been changed drastically. The Chemistry, Accountancy, and Public Administration exams scheduled on March 12 have been postponed to March 15. The political science exam has been moved forward to March 12 from March 15. The mathematics exam previously scheduled for March 18 has now been rescheduled to March 20. On the other hand, the sociology and entrepreneurship exams will now be conducted on March 18 instead of March 20.
The exams for both classes will be conducted in the afternoon session, starting at 12:30 PM and ending at either 3:00 PM or 3:30 PM, depending on the subject. Students must carry valid admit cards with scanned photographs to gain entry into the examination hall. Strict rules will be enforced, prohibiting the use of calculators and mobile phones during the exams. However, students can bring log tables and pencils for map-related tasks.

Students can click the recent announcements button at the website and then press on the date sheet link concerning updated Class 10 and Class 12 Exam schedules. Once this is done, the screen displays the updated date sheet for the examinations; students can print or save a copy to view later. It is advisable to keep a printed copy of the timetable for future reference until the results are announced.
