GGSIPU Conducts Hands-On CPR Training at Govt School Pochanpur

Hands on training and demo on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) was imparted at Government Co-Ed Sr. Sec. School, Pochanpur by the Indraprastha Centre for Skill Development (IPCSD) of GGSIPU.

Dr. S.L.Bhandarkar, IPCSD Nodal officer and Controller of Examination briefed about the skill based hands on training and gave a demo about Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to the students and staff of the school. According to Dr Bhandarkar, CPR is a technique used in emergencies when someone’s heart stops beating or they stop breathing. It combines chest compressions and rescue breaths to help circulate blood and oxygen to vital organs until professional help arrives.

Dr C.S.Rai, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Shruti Aggarwal, Dr. Tarachand, University Medical officer and Dr. Yogesh, Asst. Registrar and Jitesh Mehra were also present. Ms. Sonali and Mr. Deepak along with Dr. Yogesh and Dr. Tarachand gave the live demo of CPR to the community members and explained the procedure.

Smt. Keerti Yadav Principal of the School welcomed the University staff and Medical Team. Vice-Principal Sh. Bijender gave vote of thanks.
