The campus of KL Deemed to be University turned into a mini film arena when the team of upcoming Telugu movie Nenu Ready visited during the Surabhi 2026 cultural fest.
Thousands of students had gathered for the celebrations. Music, dance and stage shows were already in full swing. But the crowd grew louder when the film team walked in.
Lead actor Koneru Havish spoke to students and shared stories from the making of the film. The actor thanked the students for the warm welcome and said events like Surabhi bring out the energy and creativity of young people.
“Nenu Ready is made with heart,” Havish told the crowd. He said the film mixes fun with a simple positive message. According to him, the film talks about confidence and being ready to face challenges with courage.
The loudest moment came when songs from the film were played on the stage. Students cheered and many joined in dancing. For a while the campus looked more like a film celebration than a college fest.
The film is directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina. Actress Kavya Thapar stars opposite Havish. The cast also includes Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Murali Sharma, Srikanth Iyengar, Rohini and Hariteja.
Music for the film is composed by Mickey J. Meyer, and the songs have already started gaining attention among fans.
The movie is produced by Harnicks India LLP and is expected to release this summer.
For many students, the visit became one of the most memorable moments of the Surabhi festival. It gave them a chance to see film stars up close and feel a bit of the cinema world right inside their campus.
