Mohan Babu University has integrated industry-readiness programmes into its B.Tech 2026 curriculum, aiming to strengthen employability-focused education through technical training, professional preparedness and industry-aligned skill development.

The programmes are embedded across the university’s B.Tech offerings in areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing and DevOps, supported by collaborations with global companies including IBM and SAP.

The university said the programmes form part of its multi-tier career preparedness framework, designed to equip students for changing industry requirements. The framework includes professional competency development, placement preparation and applied technical training through initiatives such as STEP and CEPPR, focused on analytical aptitude, communication, interview preparation, problem-solving, workplace readiness and leadership skills.

It also includes advanced technical immersion modules, including specialised training in areas such as Advanced Java, to strengthen coding proficiency, solution development and practical application aligned with recruiter expectations.

In addition, the university has incorporated interdisciplinary learning into the broader curriculum, covering sustainability, ethical AI, innovation and entrepreneurial thinking to help students develop systems-level problem-solving abilities.

Vinay Maheshwari, Executive Director and Trustee at Mohan Babu University, said the future of engineering education lies in combining academic rigour with industry relevance.

“At Mohan Babu University, we are consciously building an ecosystem where students are not only strong in technical foundations, but also prepared to adapt, innovate and lead in a rapidly evolving technology landscape,” he said.

The university said more than 3,500 engineering students graduate annually from its B.Tech programmes.
