DPS Sector 45 Gurgaon Honours Academic, Sports Achievers At Scholar Badge Ceremony

Delhi Public School Sector 45 Gurgaon celebrated its Class XII Scholar Badge and Investiture Ceremony 2026 on May 8, recognising students for achievements in academics, leadership and sports.

The event also acknowledged the performances of the school’s Inter-DPS Under-19 cricket and football teams.

The ceremony was attended by Lt General Shankar Prasad and Renuka Prasad. Alumni Sama Mehta and Archishman Chaudhuri were also present.

Addressing students, Lt General Shankar Prasad encouraged them to value time, remain creative and face challenges with confidence. The programme also featured cultural performances by students.

Speaking at the event, Aditi Misra said education must go beyond academics and focus on developing emotionally strong and responsible individuals capable of adapting to a rapidly changing world.

She also urged parents to help children maintain balanced lifestyles by limiting excessive mobile usage and encouraging resilience and independence.

Rati Chugh spoke about the challenges faced by teenagers and stressed the importance of a supportive environment for students.

The ceremony also included the oath-taking of the newly elected Student Council, administered in the presence of the dignitaries and Sapna Dhawan.

The event concluded with the formal induction of the student council members for the new academic year while celebrating student achievement, leadership and responsibility.
