Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has made available the ICSI CS June 2025 exam registration with late fee, for those who failed to submit their applications during the initial deadline. The process of registration is for both CS Executive and CS Professional courses, and candidates willing to apply may do so via the official ICSI website, icsi.edu, or the SMASH portal.
The ICSI CS June 2025 exams will be held from June 1 to June 10, 2025, and all the papers will be held in a single sitting from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM. The candidates will be allowed to write the exam in either English or Hindi according to the instructions laid down by the institute.
To be qualified for the CS Executive exam, candidates need to have passed both the online pre-examination test and the One-Day Orientation Programme (ODOP). For candidates applying for the CS Professional exam, passing the online pre-examination test is a prerequisite. Without these, candidates will not be permitted to register for the exam.
The fee for the CS Executive Programme examination has been fixed at Rs 1,500 per group and Rs 1,800 per module or group for candidates seeking admission to the CS Professional Programme. Apart from the normal fees, those registering during this extended period will also be charged a late fee of Rs 250. Additionally, candidates who want to make any changes to their exam details, like switching the exam centre, module, medium, or optional subject, will be charged Rs 250 per change. A service charge of Rs 250 will also be charged.
The candidates who will appear for the ICSI CS June 2025 exam from the Dubai overseas center will need to pay an additional surcharge of USD 100, which will be converted to Indian rupees based on the current exchange rate. This surcharge is obligatory for all applicants who wish to appear for the exam at the Dubai center.
The ICSI has also published crucial details related to exemption eligibility and cancellation. Candidates who have obtained 60% or more in the December 2024 exams will be granted automatic paper-wise exemption for the next CS June 2025 session. But those who do not want to use this exemption facility can apply for its cancellation. The last date for filing exemption cancellation applications or re-submitting exemption documents for approval has been fixed as May 1, 2025, by 4 PM. Those candidates who would like to cancel their exemption need to apply through the SMASH portal prior to this deadline.
To finalize the registration for the ICSI CS June 2025 exam, candidates need to go to the official ICSI website (icsi.edu), click on the ICSI CS June 2025 Exam Registration link, log in using their credentials, complete the application form, and make the payment of the examination fee along with the late fee. Once the payment is made, they need to submit the form and download the confirmation receipt as proof of registration.
The ICSI has also asked all applicants to register themselves as early as possible to steer clear of any last-minute troubles that could result from excessive website traffic or any technical problems. The candidates have also been suggested to keep themselves updated with the recent announcements and notifications regarding the exam by periodically visiting the official ICSI website.
