Share

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the window for the correction of the application form for the CUET UG 2025 entrance test, during which registered applicants can make appropriate corrections to the application form. This window will be open till March 28, 2025, and all the corrections should be made by 11:50 PM on the last date. Any changes that lead to an increased application fee must be followed by the payment as requested, since change requests without the extra fee will be rejected.

The candidates are permitted to make alterations in particular information like their name, father’s name, mother’s name, Class X and XII information, date of birth, gender, category, sub-category, and disability status (PwD/PwBD). They are also allowed to alter their uploaded photograph and signature. Further, the candidates will be allowed to alter their city preferences for the exams according to their present and permanent addresses. Certain fields, though, such as the registered mobile number, email ID, permanent and present addresses, and emergency contact number, cannot be changed.

The CUET UG 2025 test is provisionally going to be conducted from May 8 to June 1, 2025. The test dates, exam city information, and admit cards will be made available later. CUET UG is a common entrance test for students applying for admission in various central, state, deemed, and private universities in India. The examination will be held in 13 Indian languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The examination will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and can be conducted in several shifts, depending on the number of applicants and subject combinations. Each paper will last for 60 minutes. Although the examinations will be held in various shifts, each test in a given shift will be considered a separate and independent test. Shift allotment will be done on the basis of the options taken by candidates and other logistical factors.

After issue of admit cards, the candidates will have to adhere strictly to the schedule allotted to them. No requests for rescheduling of examination date or shift will be accepted. Candidates will have to report for their respective slots according to the instructions in their admit cards.

The CUET UG exam has been designed to streamline the university admission process by offering a single-window opportunity for students to apply to multiple institutions with one standardized test. With a wide range of universities participating, CUET UG aims to create a more transparent and efficient system for higher education admissions across India.
