IISER IAT 2025 Document Upload Portal Now Open
Share

Applicants taking the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025 can now officially access the online portal of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER). Registered candidates may now submit their Class XII marksheets and other necessary paperwork as part of the application procedure. The window for submitting documents is currently available and will stay open until 5:00 PM IST on June 16, 2025. This stage is essential for anyone hoping to gain admission through the IAT 2025 channel.
Candidates may access the site at iiseradmission.in, the official IISER admissions page, where they must enter the credentials that were created during the first registration. The User ID (sometimes called the Registration or Application Number) and the Password are among the credentials that applicants were given via email and SMS when they signed up for the test.
Candidates must upload their Class XII marksheet or an improvement marksheet as part of this step of the application, but only if the board of education that granted the marksheet is the same one that the candidate chose during registration. Since consistency between the declared board and the uploaded document is required, this stage is crucial. Regardless of the stage of the admissions procedure, a mismatch might result in the application being rejected or revoked.
Candidates from reserved categories are required to submit legitimate category certificates in addition to their academic transcripts. These include, if applicable, credentials for KM (Kashmiri Migrants), OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD (Persons with Disabilities), and GEN-EWS. The certificates must adhere to the institute’s formats and guidelines and must be granted on or after April 1, 2025.
One important piece of advice included with this update is that after uploading the documents, the category chosen during the application procedure cannot be changed. This implies that a candidate will never be able to change or update this data via the portal, regardless of whether they initially selected a certain category, such as General, GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, or KM. Since errors made during the initial registration cannot be corrected later via the upload portal, this guideline emphasizes the necessity of accuracy at that time.
Additionally, candidates are reminded to make sure that all papers are authentic and accurate before submitting them. Applicants are held “entirely and solely responsible” by IISER for the completeness and correctness of their uploaded documents. Any discrepancy, falsification, or omission, even if discovered after admission, is sufficient for immediate cancellation of candidature. Consequently, pupils are responsible for self-verifying every uploaded document to make sure that all details are accurate and current.
The institute has made it clear that in the event of missing or inaccurate paperwork, there will be no personal correspondence. IISER will not notify candidates via email or message if their uploads are incomplete or contain errors. Therefore, the applicant is solely responsible for submitting all the necessary and accurate documentation. The institute will also not accept any requests for document uploads or changes beyond the deadline.
Candidates should be aware that the 5:00 PM deadline on June 16, 2025, is firm. After this time and date, there will be no options for editing, changing, or sending any document. After the deadline, any effort to upload documents via email or other methods will be rejected and considered illegal.
Now that the gateway is live, students are advised to proceed with caution and haste. At this point, carelessness or delays might put their whole application procedure at risk. To prevent any administrative or technical issues at the last minute, all applicants who have finished their initial registration for the IISER IAT 2025 are strongly encouraged to give this upload process priority.
On the official IISER IAT website, iiseradmission.in, candidates may find additional information or specifics.
