The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has opened the registration window for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025 officially. The application deadline is April 15, 2025. This way, students from different state and national boards, such as CBSE, ICSE, and other regional education boards, are given equal chances to apply. Foreign nationals are eligible based on the production of an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities. However, if they have completed their Class XII in 2023, 2024, or 2025 from a COBSE-recognized board within India, this additional documentation is not required.

The application process requires candidates to pay a registration fee based on their respective categories. General category students as

well as the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Other Backward Classes Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) have to pay an application fee of ₹2,000. While the candidates applying for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), registered Kashmiri Migrants (KM), and Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) and those belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) will have to remit ₹1,000. The payment should be done online at the time of submission of the application form, and the applicants should keep a receipt or proof of payment for future use.

By clicking on this link, the applicants will be redirected to the registration page where they need to first register themselves by entering fundamental information like name, contact, and email.
