With the “Accept & Float” option, students can accept their current seat while maintaining their eligibility for higher preference choices in future rounds. If, on the other hand, an applicant chooses to decline the seat or does not respond by the deadline, they will be disqualified from continuing in the counseling process. 

Paying the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) is a critical need at this point. To verify that a candidate accepts an offered seat, this fee must be paid online. A candidate will not be taken into consideration for subsequent admission rounds if this payment is not made. The SAF is set at Rs 35,000 for applicants from the General, EWS, OBC-NCL, PwD, and KM categories, but at Rs 17,500 for students from the SC and ST categories. In order to reserve the assigned seat, this cost must be paid, and it cannot be refunded. 

Depending on the availability of seats and the movement of candidates across institutions and preferences, the counseling process is anticipated to take many rounds.
