IP University MBA Disaster Management Date Extended

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has pushed back the deadline for admissions to its MBA (Disaster Management) course to May 31. The course, with a view to meeting the increasing demand for disaster management professionals, is conducted at the university’s Center of Excellence in Disaster Management, which is based in its Dwarka campus.
The program admissions will be made on the merit of the last qualifying exam, and online application form can be found on the official website of the universities. With a total capacity of 60 seats, the program is tailored for working professionals and others who wish to have the flexibility of study, as the program is held in weekend mode with classes scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays.
Dr. Amarjeet Kaur, Director of the Center, spoke about the timeliness of the course, remarking that the students can choose to leave after one year with a Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Management. If they complete two years, then they will be given a Post Graduate degree. She pointed out that the growing international interest in disaster preparedness and risk reduction has created a growing need for professionals with such training. Police, military, and paramilitary forces are especially keen on candidates with such qualifications.
