This test is tailor-made for candidates applying for admission to Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Architecture (MArch), and Master of Planning (MPlan) courses in Tamil Nadu.

The application fee for those appearing for TANCET 2025 has been fixed at ₹1,000. But a fee relaxation has been granted for applicants from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Castes Arunthathiyar (SCA), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, for whom the fee is only ₹500. While in the case of CEETA PG, the fee amount is slightly different, as it comprises both counselling charges and application charges. For SC, SCA, and ST candidates of Tamil Nadu, the overall fee is ₹900, plus an extra Goods and Services Tax (GST) of ₹400 on the counselling fee. For all other categories of candidates, the counselling and application fee is ₹1,800, plus a GST of ₹800 on the counselling fee.
