TBJEE Counselling Registration 2025 Begins

Share

The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) has officially opened the online registration window for the 2025 counselling process starting June 4. Candidates who have successfully qualified the TBJEE entrance examination are now eligible to register for counselling and select their preferred courses and institutions. This registration period will remain open until June 8, providing aspirants a limited timeframe to complete their registrations and choice filling.

To participate in the counselling, candidates must log in to the official TBJEE counselling portal using their registration ID and password. The portal, accessible via http://jeeonline.tripura.gov.in/, allows candidates to enter their details, including marks obtained in their Higher Secondary (+2) or equivalent examinations. Candidates from the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) stream will be required to input their marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Similarly, PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) candidates must enter their marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Those who have appeared for both streams need to fill marks for all five subjects accordingly. Additionally, if students have marks in subjects like Computer Science or Biotechnology, they are encouraged to include them during registration. It is important to note that marks from non-academic or extracurricular subjects such as Physical Education or Painting are not to be included.

A significant aspect highlighted in the official notice is that there is no fee charged for online registration or counselling, which aims to ease the process for candidates and encourage wider participation.

Eligibility for seat allotment through TBJEE counselling is clearly defined. Candidates must have passed both the Theory and Practical components of the relevant subjects according to their stream. For PCM students, this includes Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, while for PCB students, it includes Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Failure in either Theory or Practical in any subject will result in disqualification from admission in that subject group. Importantly, failure in Physics or Chemistry will disqualify candidates from both PCM and PCB streams since these two subjects are mandatory and common to both groups. This strict criterion ensures that only candidates with complete proficiency in the core subjects are considered for admissions.

As part of the registration process, candidates are required to upload various supporting documents. These include proof of age such as the Madhyamik admit card or birth certificate, the marksheet of the Higher Secondary (+2) or equivalent examination, and proof of residency in Tripura. Proof of residency can be demonstrated through the Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC) of either the candidate or their parent. Additionally, candidates belonging to reserved categories must upload their SC/ST certificates where applicable. Those with disabilities need to submit a valid PwD certificate issued by the District Disability Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC) or any authorized State body. Defence personnel wards must upload an Ex-Serviceman/Ward certificate and certificates verifying continuous residence in Tripura for at least five years as well as the serving status of the defence personnel where relevant. These documents need to be presented in original at the time of seat nomination and admission.

Following the completion of registration and choice-filling, the TBJEE board will release a comprehensive counselling schedule. This schedule will detail the timelines and procedures for various rounds of seat allotment, enabling candidates to track their progress through the counselling stages. Aspirants are strongly encouraged to regularly check the official TBJEE website to stay informed of any updates, notifications, and announcements regarding counselling, seat allotment, and admission deadlines.

The commencement of the TBJEE counselling marks a crucial phase for students aspiring to secure admissions in various technical and professional courses in Tripura. The transparent and systematic counselling process, coupled with a no-fee policy for registration, aims to streamline admissions while ensuring fairness and accessibility for all eligible candidates.

Students who have qualified in the entrance examination should act promptly to complete their registrations within the stipulated time frame. They must carefully fill in their course and institution preferences to enhance their chances of seat allotment in their desired programs. The inclusion of marks for all relevant subjects during registration is essential as it forms a key part of the eligibility verification and seat allocation process.

The TBJEE board’s strict eligibility criteria emphasize the importance of academic competence in both theoretical and practical examinations, safeguarding the quality of admissions in the state’s educational institutions. By adhering to these norms, the board ensures that students admitted through counselling are well-prepared for their academic pursuits.

In conclusion, the TBJEE counselling registration 2025 is a critical opportunity for qualified candidates to secure seats in various professional courses across Tripura. The process is designed to be user-friendly, transparent, and inclusive, with no fees imposed for registration or counselling. Candidates should make use of the official portal, complete all registration formalities, and stay updated through the official website to navigate the counselling rounds successfully.
