The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the much-awaited admit cards for the RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) 2025 examination. This announcement comes as a relief for millions of candidates who have been eagerly waiting to download their hall tickets and prepare for the upcoming recruitment exams. The RRB NTPC exam is one of the most competitive and sought-after government recruitment drives in India, aimed at filling a total of 8,113 graduate-level vacancies across various railway zones.

The RRB NTPC 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted from June 5 to June 24, 2025. To accommodate the large number of applicants, the examination will be held in three different shifts daily. The first shift requires candidates to report at 7:30 am, with gates closing by 8:30 am and the exam taking place from 9:00 to 10:30 am. The second shift candidates must report by 11:15 am, with gate closure at 12:15 pm, and the exam will be held from 12:45 to 2:15 pm. For the third shift, candidates should report by 3:00 pm, with gates closing at 4:00 pm, and the examination scheduled from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. This staggered schedule is designed to ensure smooth conduct and strict adherence to safety protocols during the exam.

RRB has clarified that the admit cards will be released four days prior to the candidate’s scheduled exam date, enabling candidates ample time to download and print their hall tickets. The admit card is an essential document for all candidates as it contains critical information such as exam center details, shift timings, and candidate particulars, which must be verified carefully to avoid any last-minute issues on the exam day.

This recruitment drive for the year 2025 has witnessed an overwhelming response, with a total of 1,21,67,679 applications submitted across the country. Of these, 58,40,861 candidates have applied for graduate-level posts, while 63,26,818 candidates have applied for positions requiring a 12th-grade qualification. This massive number of applicants highlights the popularity and importance of the NTPC positions in the Indian Railways, which offer stable employment and career growth opportunities.

The selection process for the RRB NTPC 2025 recruitment consists of four stages, ensuring a thorough evaluation of candidates before final appointment. The first two stages involve computer-based tests (CBT 1 and CBT 2), which are objective examinations designed to assess candidates on subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness. These exams are critical in filtering the large pool of applicants based on their aptitude and knowledge relevant to the roles they seek.

Following the CBT stages, candidates who qualify will move on to the Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), which assesses specific skills required for certain technical and non-technical roles. The final stage involves document verification, where candidates must present original documents to confirm their eligibility and credentials. This multi-tiered selection process ensures that only the most suitable candidates are selected for the various NTPC posts.

For candidates preparing to take the RRB NTPC exam, downloading the admit card is a crucial step. The process is straightforward and must be done through the official regional RRB websites. Candidates need to visit their respective regional board’s website and click on the link titled “RRB NTPC Admit Card 2025.” To access their admit cards, candidates must enter their registration number along with their date of birth or password as per the application details. Once the details are submitted, the admit card will be available for download. Candidates are advised to carefully check all the information printed on the admit card for accuracy, including their name, photograph, exam center, and timing. It is also important to keep a hard copy of the admit card, as it is mandatory to carry it to the exam center.

The Indian Railways, through RRB, continues to uphold transparency and efficiency in the recruitment process, aiming to select competent individuals who can contribute to the organization’s growth. With the admit cards now released, candidates can focus on their preparation and ensure they meet all the requirements for a smooth examination experience.
