The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the admit cards for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2025 on January 20. Candidates who have registered for the exam can access their admit cards on the official website of NTA, exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT, by logging in with their application number and date of birth. The admit card is an essential document for the candidate as it will contain all the essential information, like the exam timings, reporting time, exam center address, and detailed instructions about the exam day.

The CMAT 2025 will be conducted on January 25, 2025, in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode with two shifts. The first shift is from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second shift is from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The candidates are requested to bring along the admit card, self-declaration form or undertaking, additional photographs to be pasted on the attendance sheet, and a valid photo identification proof. Transparent ballpoint pens and transparent water bottles are allowed in the examination center. Diabetic candidates are allowed to carry sugar tablets or fruits for medical purposes.

Earlier, the NTA released the exam city slip, which informed candidates about the city in which their exam center would be located. However, this city intimation slip will not be required on the exam day. Candidates are advised to only carry their admit card and other specified items to the examination venue.

For candidates who may not be able to download the admit card or identify any mistakes in the document, NTA has already set up support by providing a helpline number: 011-40759000 and email id: [email protected]. If reported on time, it can be corrected even before the exam date.

CMAT is the annual entrance examination that takes place at the national level for management courses in institutes which are recognized by the AICTE. To pursue a career in management in India, this is the stepping stone required from the students and hence needs to be passed with high scores. Following the declaration of results, applicants would apply separately to the colleges who accept their test scores. These institutes will then declare their respective cut-off scores and selection processes, which may comprise Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). Final selection will be based on overall performance of the candidate in written exam, GD, and PI.

Candidates are given the necessary recommendations to check thoroughly for details related to exam time and center address on admit cards before attending the exam venue. The admit card also must be followed where reporting time, if late than that, are not allowed entry into the examination halls. Candidates can avoid any issue on the exam day by carefully following the information provided by the NTA regarding the guidelines on the admit cards.

With CMAT being a gateway to some of the most prestigious management programs in India, thousands of aspirants from all over the country are facing high stakes. This exam tests not only their aptitude and knowledge but also marks a crucial milestone in their journey toward a successful career in management.
