The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) declared the results for the CA Final November 2024 examinations. This year, it had impressive performance with Group 1 witnessing a pass percentage of 16.8% and Group 2 maintaining a strong 21.36%.

For Group 1, 66,987 candidates appeared, out of which 11,253 passed. Group 2 had a total of 49,459 candidates who attempted the exam, and 10,566 emerged successful. Two students, Heramb Maheshwari from Hyderabad and Rishab Ostwal R from Tirupati, shared the All India Rank (AIR) 1, scoring an exceptional 508 marks out of 600, with an impressive percentage of 84.67%. Their stellar performance reflects the dedication and hard work of the top achievers in this highly competitive examination. Riya Kunjan Kumar Shah from Ahmedabad was the second rank holder with 501 marks (83.50%), and the third rank was taken by Kinjal Ajmera from Kolkata, who scored 493 marks (82.17%).

The exams were held in November 2024. Group 1 was scheduled on November 3, 5, and 7, and Group 2 was held on November 9, 11, and 13. Candidates can access the results by visiting the official websites, entering their registration number, roll number, and captcha code, and downloading their result sheets for future reference.

A comparative analysis of the results published in November 2023 and November 2024 revealed a marked improvement in performance in Group 1. In November 2023, only 9.46% candidates could qualify for Group 1. Thus, out of 65,294 candidates, only 6,176 were able to get through. This year, Group 1’s pass percentage increased sharply to 16.8%. Group 2’s pass rate saw no change as it hovered at 21.36% in November 2024 as well as in November 2023.
