The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the results of the January 2025 CA Foundation and Intermediate exams officially. To be eligible for the CA Foundation exam, candidates must secure a minimum of 40% in every subject and an overall aggregate of not less than 50% in all four papers. Candidates who secure an overall aggregate of over 70% are given a “Pass with Distinction” status, a recognition of their excellent performance. The CA Intermediate exam has a different criterion, wherein applicants are required to clear both Groups 1 and 2 individually. Candidates are required to obtain at least 150 marks in each section out of 300 to be declared successful.
