The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the admit cards for the MHT CET 2025 group exam of the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group. The hall tickets have been released for download on April 3, 2025, on the official website of the CET Cell. Registered candidates for the exam are asked to login by their registered email ID and password to download and print their admit cards. MHT CET, which is a highly significant entrance test for those who aim to get themselves admitted into engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture programs at Maharashtra state colleges, is held every year in the months of May and June.

In order to have easy entry to the examination hall, all the applicants need to have a color-printed copy of their admit card with them on the day of the examination. The admit card is a compulsory document for entry, and without that, applicants will not be admitted to the test center. Thus, applicants need to check all personal details listed on the hall ticket, such as their name, photo, signature, and exam center information. If any difference is detected, they should report to the CET Cell immediately for rectification so that there would not be last-minute problems on the day of the examination.

How to Download the Admit Card

In order to get the admit card, the candidates must go to the official MHT CET 2025 portal at https://mahacet.org/. After reaching the portal, they must find the link to download the MHT CET 2025 admit card and click on it. The second step is to provide the registered email ID and password, upon which they need to click on the ‘Submit’ button. Once logged in, the hall ticket will be displayed on the screen, which they need to download and take a printout for future reference.

Exam Schedule and Format

The MHT CET 2025 examination will be conducted in an online, computer-based test (CBT) mode across multiple exam centers in Maharashtra. The test follows the syllabus prescribed by the Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT).

For students who are in the PCB group, the test will be conducted between April 9 and April 17, 2025, except on April 10 and April 14. On the other hand, the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) group test will be conducted from April 19 to April 27, 2025, except on April 24. The test will be held in two shifts daily: the morning shift from 9 AM to 12 noon, and the afternoon shift from 2 PM to 5 PM.

MHT CET exam pattern ensures that candidates are evaluated on physics, chemistry, and mathematics or biology based on their group of choice. The syllabus is mainly according to the Maharashtra State Board curriculum of Class XI and XII. As the exam is conducted in CBT mode, the candidates should get accustomed to the same through practice with mock tests before the actual day to prevent any technical issues during the exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 45% marks in their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or Class XII exam to be considered eligible for MHT CET 2025. This requirement is for students who have appeared for the board exam from any state or central education board. Moreover, applicants should have physics, chemistry, and mathematics or biology as compulsory subjects in their Class XII curriculum. The eligibility criteria are necessary to ensure that only academically fit applicants apply for the entrance test, which is the doorway to a number of highly ranked colleges and universities in Maharashtra.

Important Instructions to Candidates

All applicants must follow strict guidelines while appearing for the test. It is necessary to bring the admit card with a valid government-approved photo ID proof, like an Aadhar card, PAN card, voter ID, or passport, to the test center. Reaching the test center very early is also advisable, as late arrivals will not be allowed into the examination hall at any cost. In addition, aspirants must refrain from carrying restricted items like electronic gadgets, calculators, smartwatches, or any printed material, since these are totally prohibited within the exam hall.

Students will be given general instructions on the online test interface prior to the start of the exam. Candidates should refer to the exam pattern and marking scheme in advance to make the most of their performance. As the exam is an MCQ-based one, the key to securing high scores would be time management.
